Refund policy

Two distinct regimes apply to Eavesdrop purchases. Read carefully — they are not the same.

Statutory cancellation right (CCR 2013)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, buyers of digital content ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel. However, Regulation 37 permits you to waive that right when you consent to immediate delivery of digital content.

At checkout, you ticked the box confirming you wanted your report delivered immediately and that you were waiving the 14-day right. We sent you a durable-medium email confirming that consent within one hour of purchase.

As a result, the statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply once your report has been delivered.

Quality guarantee (Eavesdrop policy)

Separate from the statutory regime — and regardless of consent — we guarantee the quality of every report we produce. Specifically:

Under 70% coverage, we refund you automatically — no need to ask. It usually shows in 5–10 working days.

Every report ships with a per-source ledger showing which of our up to 66 sources were consulted, which were unavailable, and which were not applicable to your property. If the ledger shows coverage below 70%, we automatically refund you.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically appear in 5–10 working days.

Questions about a refund

Email hi@geteavesdrop.com if you have a question, including your order ID (shown in your purchase confirmation email). You do not need to contact us to receive an automatic coverage refund. We aim to respond within one working day.

Under 70% coverage, the refund is automatic; no request or further evidence is needed.
